Love Your Brain

Achieve your creative/business goals with your body & brain fully on board.

Does any of this sound familiar?
  • You're a "self-improvement" pro who's watched the YouTube, bought the books, and downloaded a dozen courses... But you still don't feel like you've found a solution that works for you.
  • Your mental health is okay, or "better than it was!"... But you still find yourself delayed by perfectionism, procrastination, or just not-wanting-to-do-this-today.
  • You're a talented creative with so many ideas and interests... But you have trouble focusing on one thing long enough to build what feels like sustainable success.
  • You love your brain's capacity for creativity and innovation... But sometimes you feel oversaturated and like you're stuck in the spin cycle.
  • And you're devilishly self-sufficient, always thinking you should be able to figure it out on your own... But something's just not clicking and you're not sure you're on the right path.

Here's the problem...

When you're not feeling inspired and creative, the self-judgment can pile on, full of messages you've been hearing your whole life. Creative and neurodivergent folks are sometimes called lazy, undisciplined, or even hopeless. And that's hardly the loving, flow-filled state from which creativity springs!

If you've already done a lot of "work on yourself" and just want to get to the good stuff already, the good news is that you don't have to be fully healed in order to get your creative mojo back.

If you feel pulled in fifteen directions by your interests and passions, there are ways to grow and achieve without truly giving up on any of them.

And if you've tried a ton of different things, you're probably feeling ready for something that works for your exact unique brain and situation, that can be flexible as you grow and change.

If that resonates...

I bet you've been looking for a professional creative who gets the arts & business parts AND has the proven skills to support you in managing the day-to-day so you have the mental space to truly live in your genius.

And it does exist—I'm a multi-hyphenate autistic+ADHD artist & AuDHD Coach whose special interest in trauma healing led them to becoming a multiply-certified coach and hypnotist, working with neurodivergent creatives to change their life and brain in less than 6 months.

Love Your Brain is a 5-month Coaching Program & Creative Incubator for AuDHD* creatives and/or entrepreneurs who are ready for all the work they've put in to pay off.

Over five months, Love Your Brain has two simultaneous tracks:

1. Increasing your sense of safety and effectiveness in the practical side of life (getting your brain and body on board)

2. Making meaningful and measurable steps toward your personalized creative project and/or business goals.

Those two tracks together—even if you spend the minimum of around two hours a week—can have some spectacular results. I’ll be your creative partner & healing guide, supporting your creative and personal dreams simultaneously.

*Clients who are just autistic OR ADHD have also been successful in Love Your Brain! See FAQ below for more.

Sounds cool, but how?

Procrastination, self-sabotage, and people-pleasing are actually safety mechanisms when the brain perceives a threat. The central nervous system regulates almost all of the body’s system, and it heavily affects what we call “emotional regulation.” A healthy CNS can handle stress and re-regulate to a state of safety. Because we live in a more routinely stressing world than our ancestors, sometimes the CNS gets “stuck” in states of stress that can affect our entire body.

Regulating the nervous system so it can return to safety more often can feel like a deep reset for the body and brain. It allows us to take risks, have healthy relationships, maintain better health, and feel more hopeful.

Using a variety of modalities including coaching, hypnosis, somatics, and other cool stuff, we find what helps your nervous system feel consistently more safe and less stressed. The ups and downs of life will still happen, but you'll have many tools at your disposal that work for your unique body-mind system. And you'll feel more of a sense of control about whatever comes in the future.

This program is not a substitute for medical advice from a licensed professional. While Mattia loves science and learns as much as they can, they are very aware of their lane... which does not include diagnosing or treating disorders.

There are 3 core supports in Love Your Brain:

1:1 Sessions

The heart of the program is 1:1 sessions with me, as well as creative advising between sessions. This is a small and bespoke program because I want to be almost as invested in your creative success as you are!

  • First 2 months: rhythm of 45-min sessions every other week.

  • During those sessions, we'll practice CNS healing, talk about your project, try hypnosis... all tailored to your needs!

  • Final 3 months: One session per month + all the creative advising you need. I'm your coach who's here for you for the whole five months!

  • Creative advising between sessions looks like: email or text support around your project needs. This can be the nitty-gritty practical advice you need to keep up momentum.

Group Calls & Coworking

We alternate 1:1 with group coaching mastermind-y calls every other week, and the final week each month is an integration week with no meetings... everyone's grateful for those once we get going.

  • First 2 months: 1 group call (+ recording)

  • Final 3 months: 2 group calls (+ recordings)

  • Bonus workshops throughout the program based on cohort interests (also recorded)

  • After we've all met on the first group call, 2-hr weekly coworking calls start (with integration week breaks the final week of each month)

  • Final week is an implementation retreat: 4 hours of co-working + a celebration hour!

Community

  • Optional community space to virtually connect with others like you (in Facebook and/or Discord depending on cohort vote).

  • Rant on tough days, ask for additional support, and exchange advice with others on the same journey.

  • Share your work and offers in a safe space.

  • Build lifelong connections with peers and potential collaborators.

What You'll Get

  • 7 one-on-one sessions
  • 10 group coaching calls
  • 14 coworking calls (28 hours total)
  • Implementation retreat
  • Creative advising between sessions
  • A community of people who get it
  • Bonus workshops based on cohort interests

And...
• You'll be excited about your creative work.
• Flow and ease will become a way of life.
• It will suddenly feel easier to establish other habits that support all of it.
• You'll have a repeatable framework to keep iterating for the rest of your career.

p.s. my secret behind-the-scenes goal is that you grow so much in your capacity and sovereignty that you never feel like you need another program again. From here on out, it's all about fun & flourishing, not "fixing." You don't need to be fixed, you just need a framework and the confidence to apply it!

Who am I & Why do people work with me?

My name is Mattia Maurée, and I’m an award-winning composer and poet who loves learning, long walks, and arctic puffins. While I started college at 14, I wasn’t diagnosed autistic until my 30s—being gifted often masks struggles with daily life. Everyone in my large family has ADHD, and learning how to love and accept my strengths and weaknesses has made every area of life more fun, challenging, and rewarding.

I’ve specialized in working with neurodivergent and gifted people since 1999, when I first started teaching piano. When I started processing my own complex-PTSD, trauma healing became a special interest that led directly to a year-long trauma training program. While I didn’t want to be a therapist, I knew I wanted to help people like me thrive. Becoming a multiply-certified life coach and hypnotist has given me a plethora of modalities to draw from. I'm a Board Certified Hypnotherapist through IACT, an organization that certifies hypnosis professionals.

Now, I’ve coached almost a hundred neurodivergent creatives. Through our work together, clients have changed careers, revitalized creative practices, and brought “11 out of 10” anxiety down to manageable levels.

I’ve helped people do everything from create an ND-friendly morning routine to explain to their parents why they need to change degree programs. Now I work exclusively with neurodivergent and/or gifted creatives and entrepreneurs to get the support they haven’t been able to find anywhere else.

p.s. my name is pronounced muh-TEE-uh muh-RAY and my pronouns are they/them

Testimonial from Love Your Brain pilot program

When I contacted Mattia, I'd been struggling... I had tried everything to quit smoking and failed; I was drinking too much and having trouble sleeping; and I generally felt overwhelmed and sick with anxiety all the time. I'd also tried seeing three therapists and one psychologist during this time, but I just couldn't get my feet under me. Worst of all, I'd stopped being able to do my art, and I felt like I was losing myself as well as the future I wanted.

I've always known I was neuroatypical, but I was unprepared for what a difference it made to work with someone who really understood that, and with a program geared towards the way my mind works. By giving me tools for really addressing my anxiety, and teaching me how to manage my own progress, Mattia helped me move forward in a way that respected my self-knowledge. This helped me make more progress, and with far less difficulty, than I expected.

I was able to quit smoking, after years of trying, in just a few sessions. I quit drinking every day, too, and got a handle on my habits; I started creating healthy routines, and then starting making art again. I even made progress on roadblocks in my art and social skills that I hadn't planned to even address—but using Mattia's system, it was surprisingly easy, both to start making progress, and to keep it going.

It's been a few months since our sessions finished, and I continue to make excellent progress on my own, using what I learned: I'm expanding my routines, eating better, and deepening my artistic practice to the point where I now spend 1-2 hours a day working on what I love doing. I feel like I'm finally getting a handle on my life, and this program was the single best thing I did to make that happen.

FAQ & Pricing

Q: Who is this program for?
A: Neurodivergent creatives & entrepreneurs who are ready to transition into the next phase of their career. Mid-career artists who feel stuck or frustrated. People who know they have so much more capacity but feel held back by the same brain that gives them superpowers.

Q: Who is the program NOT for?
A: If you’re at the very beginning of your creative journey and are looking for “tips and tricks” rather than a comprehensive jet-fuel for your process. This is not for you if paying for it would stress you out too much to enjoy it.

Q: How much time will this take?
A: Allow an hour a week for 1:1 or group calls. The 2-hr weekly coworking calls are optional. Then however much time you want to commit to your project! This program will grow your capacity and get you into more fun and flow. You'll feel your sense of time expand.

Q: How much does it cost?
A: $7500, or 5 monthly payments of $1600. Because creating safety for your mind-body system is at the core of the program, I want the money to feel aligned and like a good fit for you. There are 2 scholarship spots available.

Q: Do I have to be both autistic and ADHD?
A: Nope—if you're one or the other, or identify as neurodivergent in general, that's great too. And self-diagnosis is always valid!

AuDHDers specifically tend to not find much support or advice that works for them, so that's why I'm being up front about this being a space for both neurotypes.

Q: Should I just find a coach for my specific artistic area, such as a book coach?
A: If you have a clearly defined project, need in-depth insider knowledge of one area, and don’t need the nervous system support… go for it! If you need a coach who understands your brain, not just your medium, and/or if your dreams and passions are wide-ranging and you struggle with figuring out how to get it all done… I can help with that.

Q: I’ve tried coaches or programs in the past that haven’t worked for me…how is this different?
A: If this is not the right fit for you, I trust you to know that. I’ve helped ND creatives create some truly outrageous results by deeply honoring their own inner knowing. The goal of the application is to give you greater clarity in what you want, so if you’re interested I encourage you to apply. Then we’ll both have a good sense of whether this is the right fit right now.

Q: What if I feel like I “should” be able to figure all this out by myself because I’m smart and used to doing things on my own? What if I already have resources but feel like it’s just not integrating or clicking?
A: Neurodivergent creatives often have to forge our own path. You’re probably used to figuring things out on your own out of necessity. Being "functional" (i.e. high-masking) is a double-edged sword, because you may have had trouble getting people to take you seriously enough to actually help you. And all you really want is enough stability to love your creative practice again, and have it support your life holistically. I’m here to help you integrate everything you’ve learned so far, put all the pieces together, and finally feel like your brain is totally on your side.

Q: What if I’m a little afraid of success?
A: Fear of success is a super classic fear of brilliant people who haven’t received needed supports. I want you to be exactly as big and bright as you want to be…and that means building safety along the way. Don’t worry, I’ll be with you every step of the process, and I totally get where these fears come from!

Q: What if I still have questions?
A: Please email questions to admin@mattiamauree.com. If you'd like to connect, apply, and ask questions at the same time, you can book a free Application Call
